Anyone in the Philly area that needs some bamboo should note that there is several miles of it growing along the river near 23rd and South --> Walnut.
About 20-30 foot tall, 2" diameter. Believe its on railroad property.

Although I could send you some, I suspect that it might be more efficient to acquire some closer to you. I guess it depends on how much you want. I could send you a root if you just need a small starter piece.
